This rayon challis is lightweight, soft and drapey, cool to the touch with a matte finish, for loose, flowy warm weather apparel.  Perfect for summer blouses, dresses, tops, skirts, pants, shorts, robes, pj's, shirts, beach wraps, summer pillow cases, shawls, scarves, less-structured jackets and ponchos. Rayon challis is woven not knit, so it does not stretch. It's quite easy to sew, breathable, easy to care for and takes colors beautifully.  100% Rayon. India. 42/44" Wide.

Cool wash and machine dry low, or air dry. Pre-treat before sewing - almost all rayon shrinks quite a bit. If you don't over-dry it, usually rayon challis comes from the dryer unwrinkled, newly fluffed and ready to wear.
